Dear Parents & Guardians,
As you may know, in science class the students have been working very hard learning about animals. For the last week we have been focusing on animals on the endangered species list. The students will be working on a group project to research and give a presentation to the class on a specific endangered animal. To reward the students for all their hard work and to give them the opportunity to learn and observe even more about these animals, we have planned a field trip to the Philadelphia Zoo. I know I am excited about this trip and I hope you and your child will be too!

We will be traveling to the Philadelphia Zoo on April 25th, 2008. We will be leaving school at 8:30am and be returning to school at 2:00pm. The trip will cost approximately $15, but more information about that along with a permission slip will be sent home to you in your parent folders shortly.
Also, I will be looking for a few parent volunteers to accompany us on the trip as chaperones. If you would be interested in this, please respond to me via email.
